Good Grades

About Good Grades

Good Grades opened on March 30, 2023 as the first licensed dispensary in Queens. It held the state's first woman-owned CAURD license given to someone previously criminalized under cannabis prohibition. Cousins Extasy James and Michael James Jr. grew up in Jamaica and run the shop.

The 4,000-square-foot store reopened in November 2023 after a roughly $1 million renovation into a bright, open layout. The name comes from weekly report cards the staff use to grade products. Only A-rated products go on the shelves.
