About Gotham Buds

Gotham Buds opened on October 18, 2023, as Harlem's first legal cannabis dispensary. It was the 26th conditional adult-use dispensary to open in New York State. The shop is on 125th Street across from the Apollo Theater.

Co-founder Omar Tejada and co-owner Malika Bellamy run the store. Digital kiosks show details on each strain. Community Board 10 asked the shop to give hiring priority to local residents.
