About The Flowery Staten Island

The Flowery opened on January 17, 2024 as the first licensed cannabis dispensary on Staten Island. It was the last NYC borough to get a legal shop. Owners Moe Elgaly and Shlomo Weinstock are both New York City natives.

Elgaly is from Staten Island and was arrested for a cannabis offense as a young man. Before The Flowery he opened a pizzeria, a deli and other small businesses. The owners set out to make the shop a destination on the island's south shore.
